Check-in/Checkout
Check-in after 4pm PT and check-out is by 11AM PT. Based on dates booked. Any variance of these times requires written approval from Hosts/ Owners. *Unauthorized late check-outs* will incur an additional fee.
Maximum Occupancy/ Accurate Guest Counts
The maximum number of over-night guests is limited to Twelve (12) persons in and on the property for an overnight stay booked.
Your reservation must accurately reflect the number of guests staying at the property. Any additional guests beyond those included in the reservation must be reported and approved prior to arrival.
– *Extra Guest Fees*: Additional guests beyond the included number are subject to a fee of $30 per person per night. Please update your reservation on the platform or with Host.
All registered guests’ names and ages must be provided to the Hosts/Owners before check-in. Any visitors to the property must be approved by the owners/hosts in advance.
No Smoking/Vaping/Illegal Drugs on Property
Smoking or vaping of any kind is prohibited inside the house. You must maintain a distance of at least 10 meters from entrance and building while smoking, and please ensure that cigarette butts are not discarded on the ground or in the canal. The fire pit area serves as an ideal location for smoking.
If evidence of smoking/vaping or illegal drugs inside the house or on property is found, a $200 fee will be charged by the Hosts/Owners to the booking guest.
Firearms/Fireworks
The use of firearms including, but not limited to, BB or pellet guns, fireworks, firecrackers, or explosives of any kind are strictly prohibited on the property regardless of events/celebration. Yes, even on the 4th of July. Thank you for understanding.
Cameras
Cameras are for guest protection and property. Cameras are not continuously monitored but can be reviewed if needed to verify compliance. Do not tamper, disconnect or turn off the cameras or Wi-Fi. Subject to immediate eviction.
We have outdoor surveillance cameras that view the driveway, garage, swim spa, north and south patios, and dock area, as well as the doors at the point of entry. (No internal cameras).
Respect Neighbors/No Parties
We’re in a quiet community on the Hood Canal, and loud noise carries across the water. Please be respectful of our neighbors when outside, at the dock, and fire pit areas. Do not walk onto neighbors’ property–it is considered trespassing. Quiet time is from 9pm to 8am PT. No parties or events are allowed. If it gets too rowdy and the police are called, you will forfeit any amounts paid, and all guests will be evicted immediately. Small family gatherings may be approved by the hosts with a visitor list provided in advance. Any unlisted guests will be asked to leave and considered trespassing.
Children and Infants
We welcome families. Children should always be supervised, and it is required that everyone wears life jackets during any water-related activities.
Hot Tub Rules
Note: To make sure the hot tub is ready for you to enjoy, please check the temperature when you arrive. It may need a little time to heat up, especially if it was recently cleaned or reset.
To ensure safety and cleanliness, please follow these steps when using hot tub:
Do not use soaps, lotions, or oils in the Hot Tub. Shower beforehand. Misuse may result in extra hot tub cleaning fees.
Enter and exit the Hot Tub slowly. Please no jumping or diving.
Do not bring food or drinks in or near Hot Tub.
Limit hot tub sessions to 15 to 20 minutes.
Maintain the hot tub water temperature below 104°F.
For children under 10, restrict hot tub time to 5-10 minutes and keep the temperature no higher than 95°F. All children must be supervised at all times by adults.
Pregnant women, individuals with heart conditions, high blood pressure or other serious conditions should seek medical advice from their doctor before using a hot tub.
Please do not sit or lie down on hot tub cover
After each use, please cover the hot tub to keep debris from getting into the tub and allow the tub to maintain the water at a desired temperature.
Dock, SwimSpa, Water Equipment, Lawn Games
- Be respectful of the neighbors. Noise carries across water.
- Adult supervision of children is always required
- NO GLASS on the dock or near the Swim spa
- No Running on the dock, the surface is slick when wet
- Life vests are available in the boathouse or in the covered white shed. They must be used for Kayaks and Paddle boards. Younger children must wear them when on the dock.
- Watch out for boat traffic! Be respectful and knowledgeable of vessel right of way.
- NO DIVING OFF DOCK! It is extremely unsafe.
Shellfish Harvesting
If you intend to harvest shellfish, please obtain the necessary licenses and be knowledgeable of rules in the area. Guests are expected to follow the WA state’s shellfish harvesting regulations. Please protect the shellfish population! We’re not responsible for any fines incurred. Kindly do not cook or shuck oysters inside the home; this can cause plumbing issues. Consuming raw or undercooked shellfish may increase your risk of food-borne illness, especially if you have certain medical conditions. Owners/Hosts are not held responsible for illnesses.
Water & Sewer
This Property is on a septic system. Don’t pour oil/grease in the drains. Do not shuck oysters indoor. Shells may clog up the pipes. We have an outdoor fish prepping station next to the boat house. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper and bodily waste! NO paper towels, baby wipes, flushable wipes (they are not flushable for a sceptic system no matter what the package states). If it is found that anything other than toilet paper has been flushed and clogged the system, you will be charged for damages.
Wildlife & Pests
We have scheduled exterminator services, but being in a rural area, pests and wildlife are to be expected, especially in Spring and Summer. To minimize risk, please don’t leave food outside and secure garbage bags in closed containers. Avoid leaving food or containers on the patio, dock, swim spa, or firepit area. You might encounter wildlife such as deer, eagles, seals, raccoons, snakes, bugs, wasps, yellow jackets, hornets, spiders, ants, etc. Prepare for these encounters, never approach wildlife, and exercise extreme caution. Be wildlife aware, especially with pets and children. Do not feed wildlife. These encounters are rare but possible. Thanks for your understanding.
